It's good if you really love portable gaming devices and don't mind spending money on new games.

I think I'm getting old and picky, but I haven't used the one I bought for my daughter more than 3 times in the last year. She doesn't used that much either after I bought her a Samsung player and told her I would sell the DS 3Ds to get money back, but I haven't.

I think I have been spoiled so much with PC gaming and buying games for $5-10 dollars on steam or GMG, that paying for than $20-30 for a DS 3Ds gamins is hard for me to justify. I don't think I have never touched the Ambassador games I got.

I built mine from broken ones, but I would've bought new if I had the money. It's a great device, it really is even if it seems gimmicky at first glance. Decent graphics, a more app-centralized interface, nice 3D effects and the library is just getting bigger and bigger and with games that are actually GOOD. Game developers are actually taking game development for this console a little more seriously than they did for the DS and it shows in the games themselves, and Nintendo's brought back a lot of good stuff and good concepts for their own games so far. Plenty of good downloadable games, many retail games are even available for cloud purchase, and lots of neat Virtual Console games. Plus if you can find an Ambassador console used (which I unknowingly did) you can even get 10 free VC games.

The only thing I wish was that Miis were used more like they were in Wii (insert game here) or something. biggrin.gif
