5970 + 5870 in BF3 leads to blackscreen on dual screen.

Hi guys

I have a silverstone 750W 80+ Silver rated PSU.

i5 2500K @ 4ghz. and a 5970 and 5870. Both idle at 55 degrees.

As soon as I pass the load screen and the game is about to load up both screens (DUAL SCREENS) go black but I can still hear typing etc or windows noise.
Is PSU not powerful enough?

recommended a 645w PSU.

Should I format or is it BF3 only related? Used Furmark Burn in with no issues. Call of Duty with no issues either. 5870 is in the primary slot. 5970 in secondary running 8 x8 on ASUS p8z68 v pro

Try loading BF3 on a single display first and see if it works.

I think it is trying to load on a single display. the loading screen is only on the left. I've gone into the game for a few seconds before it crashing to blackness on both screens. Seems system is still up but screens are just black. Ive swapped both cards around and same effect.

Sounds like a potential driver issue. 

Which one do you have installed?
