Watercooling loop upgrade

Thread Starter
I just want to know if the part I have select to upgrade my Rasa kit are good. I mean, better than what i already have. All my tube are clouding and at some point, the white thing is peeling off the tube (My block is maybe full of gunk mad.gif). I want to change my pump since mine start to make quite alot of noise and it is annoying my self. I need a bay reservoir because I don't have the space in my case.

Ah, and for the barb. I have 7/16ID and it look like to be and "not so usual" size so I decide to change for 3/8ID / 1/2OD with rotary fitting. For the 45degree angle... it is because I have a hard turn to do and I think my tubing is kinking...

I have an important point to, I from Canada wink.gif and if you know other store than Dazmode and Ncix who are selling watercooling part, it would be apreciate (I know newegg is selling some part like Ncix).

So yes, waiting you opinions/suggestion/advice/etc.

I will also post picture of my rig before and after the upgrade... because I know you love picture tongue.gif

Yeah, the color of that coolant looks absolutely disgusting...

It is pure distille water and it is the tubing that take the white color. The water in the reservoir is still crystal clear.

But, can someone tell me if the DDC 3.2 + the Koolance reservoir is a good choice?

I have read that EK add trouble few month/year ago but did their rotary fitting are reliable?

Thank you for your reply!

Oh, I misread sorry. I thought the coolant was going bad, not the tubing. That pump looks good for your loop, as for the res, it seems that that one was made for 2 pumps and your obviously only using one. XSPC makes some 2x5.25 inch bay resivoirs for much cheaper that accommodate your ddc pump you have in mind.

I have keep in mind that one day, I will maybe put my 6950 and an other rolleyes.gif underwater in dual loop. I just don't have the money the willing to spend more on my computer that do everything I want (exept sandwich biggrin.gif).

I was looking in the dazmode store and I think I will swap the DDC pump and the reservoir for a D5 Vario + XSPC Reservoir for one D5. I will save around 80$ and if one day I what to have my GPU WC, I will have more money than I will probably change more part.

So yes.... the cost is around 220$ now. I'm expecting to get less noise from the D5 and it is what im looking for.

If someone just say I'm making a good decision, it will make my day redface.gif

Thanks alot OCN.

One question, why did you choose UV blue tubing, but you're using blue code cathode lights? Why not use UV cold cathode lights?
