What to do with that spare computer...

Thread Starter
Hey, so my step-mom has this really old computer. And I ask her what she's going to do with it and she's like: uh.. charity? I'm thinking "wow... there has to be SOMETHING i can use this for!"

so i was thinking... maybe i can use the Hard Drive with my computer. Just wondering what I need to do to be able to use 2 hard drives at the same time?

Also... was just wondering (since ur all computer experts) what you all like to do with old spare computers all your friends dont want anymore

thanks,
deagle

oh, and I should add i think i might be getting my dads old laptop (he says it doesnt really work anymore - but i can fix that ;D )

Well you can just plug in the second hard drive and botta boom! lol. That shouldnt be much trouble. Also, how old you talking? If its SUPER SUPER old, the hdd may be so small its just not worth it. I usually take any and all pc parts I can and store them. Always good to have parts laying around.

It's like a PIII or better have it fold and web browse. Otherwise scrap it.

You can give it to charity. Some poor kid needs it a lot more then you do.
