A tiny part of the back of my motherboard was scratched by one of the screw mounts and a tiny bit of copper is showing. I haven't even got to test it yet. Is the scratch patchable or is the board dead now??

The rest of the scratch is zig-zag style on the board's enamel coating, showing white marks:

i think you'll be fine, and it doesnt look like it cut any connections, only exposing some.

Should I try to cover the exposed trace just to avoid corrosion? Would using a silver conductive pen be alright?

if you cover it with anything do it with fingernail polish. it will stop it from oxidizing. do not use any kind of silver or metal based sealer or anything. it will short them out and mess it up.
