128K is the stripe size - 128KiB of data on one drive, then 128KiB on the other - alternating back and forth. (Striping)
With drives that old, I'd actually recommend a 32K stripe. What's the cache size on those drives? Have you benchmarked them in HDTune to see how they perform? (Drives in RAID-0 should perform similarly for ideal performance.)
If the drives don't match up well, sometimes you can get better performance out of them by skipping RAID and dedicating one to being just for games. Then the other can handle OS/Apps/etc.
