But really... there's no way to address that, no practical one at least... you could buy an SFX unit with a standard bracket and that will leave sufficient room... problem is, the largest output SFX unit you can buy is this... so adding a second card is no longer an option.

The Lightning is better... but I'd probably get the Lepa because I can't stand the LEDs.

However it has been my observation that the ATX standard is followed kind'a loosely by the manufactors.
I recently replaced my OCZ modXsteam pro 600 with a FSP Aurum 750M, and I noticed that I didn't have to wedge the FSP PSU in like I had to do to install the OCZ PSU, because the FSP PSU was less then a tenth of an inch shorter then the OCZ (3.35" VS 3.40")
The .05" made a difference.

I ordered the rosewill. There is a 15% code on newegg for it, So it came to $129.99 shipped. I dont care about the LED's anyways considering my case has a side panel without a window. You guys have been very helpful. I will be giving much deserved reps out tomorrow morning. Thanks again for all the help. thumb.gif

*edit* and if anyone wants a new corsair 750 mines for sale. Good psu just not modular. tongue.gif

Indeed, there is a slight variation... but they're never larger than spec, smaller yes(as small as the mounting wholes allow them to be, so there is some room for size variation).

YW!. Enjoy your new gear!

I had a Thermaltake V3 case that I couldn't mount my Corsair H50 in it, because the radiator would hit the top of the case.
So what I did, was to slot my mounting holes about a half an inch using a Dremal tool, this allowed me to slide the radiator down just enough to clear the top of the case.
Good luck thumb.gif

Cheers cheers.gif

I just watched a review of the rosewill psu online and someone said you arent supposed to have the psu fan facing upwards? Is that true?
