front case USB in right position Z68 VPRO

Thread Starter
Hey guys i have a haf 912 and a asus z68vpro. Ever since i built the build a few months ago i forgot that the front usb ports on my case do not work. I thought maybe it was just a bad mobo or something/case but iv built 3 other units with similar spec/case i can never get the front usb ports to work. Can someone check whether this header is in the right socket? I see 3 blue and 2 black which one do i put the cable in?

Honestly, it doesn't look like it's plugged in all the way. If it's not going, unplug it to check that it's orientated the right way, and the missing pin on the motherboard lines up with the filled slot on the connector.

That is, in fact, the correct port to be using.
