First Build, First Watercool, Results (with pics)

Hey guys - there's no telling how many times I had to read various posts on this board to help me make decisions and build, so I decided to post my results. This is my first foray into building my own computer, as well as my first time building a watercooling kit. All went perfectly well, writing this post from my new machine!

Went mainly for function over form - not really into the flashy LEDs and fan covers (there's even a fan mounted on the outside!).

You can read all the details/specs here: http://www.empel.com/articles.html/_/2012/new-machine-complete-r17

Holy crap that looks extremely well done for a first build. Kudos to you and +rep whenever my phone decides to let me click it.

Good idea! I was thinking that was the one element that looked out of place. Will be doing this for sure.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I appreciate it

Yea didn mean it to sound like I was being a critic. Mine stuck out like a sore thumb so I painted it satin black to match inside of case.

What made it 1000x simpler was the size of the case. It gave me plenty of options so designing the loop wasn't too hard. Can't recommend this case enough, it's worth the cash and shows off builds better than any other case I've seen.

Yea I'm extremely jealous. I decided not to spend too much time on case selection/price with my build that's about a month old. After seeing this I extremely regret it, especially since I will be sticking in a custom loop as well soon.

Although I will say, since your cpu/gpus are under water it seems like you might have a lot more fans installed on the mobo side than necessary. Just a suggestion if you want to cut back on the noise.

That is one sick case. Would look really nice if you put some colored coolant in there, but oh well, its great how it is. GJ.
