A few shots of my gf's PC with the lastest addition: NZXT FX-140LB 140mm Fan, Kingston HyperX T1 Black Series 2133MHz 8GB DDR3 RAM DC Kit, Intel 520 Series 120GB SSD, Intel i5 3570K and EVGA GTX560Ti SC DS. biggrin.gif

Nice, clean look. Good job on the cable management. Recommendation - You may want to move that SSD down to the bottom cage so you can move one of the cages out for more direct airflow.thumb.gif

Thank you for your comment. thumb.gif I only have that 140mm fan as intake so the two removable drive cases are not blocking any airflow. I had that configuration (front intake) before but thought that since nothing is overclocked, then the temps should be fine.

Besides, this is my gf's PC which is for The Sims 3; the only game she plays. However, I'll report the temps once it gets enough usage. smile.gif

Does hidden (behing the motherboard tray) cable management matter beyond aesthetics? Mine are loose when they're behind the motherboard aside from a few cable ties.

Also, new picture, since I switched the stock fan on the CPU cooler.

Pic not showing?

To your question, no, it does not as long as you're able to close the door without pushing any of the component with the cables. I only did it because of my OCD. frown.gif

EDIT: And the pic is now showing in my quote. thinking.gif

Mine are as well, but it's whatever makes YOU happy. Other people might criticize you for it, but it's also not their PC.

My girl only plays Sims 3 too. Whats up with that? =). Thinking of moving her to an ITX build soon. Although she probably be more happy with a laptop. biggrin.gif

Probably not so much with a case like this because of the sound dampening foam. But I remember in my old HAF 922 a loose wire behind the mobo tray with a connector on it sitting against the panel would create slight vibrations once and awhile. Tied those suckers down and it helped a lot.

Yeah I get no noise from vibrating cables. The case fans could use replacing, but, frankly, noise level is acceptable right now with this case. Very good now that the whining CPU cooler's fan is replaced. The Noctua P12 is quieter than the old one was on level 2, turned full on. Love it! biggrin.gif

Yeah, like I said you probably wouldn't in the 550d because of the foam. Love my P12 too, so much quieter then the enermax tb silence I had on my heatsink before. biggrin.gif
