I think I'm going to add another fan bottom so I can do pull/push setup on the bottom hdd compartment.

What converter did you use for the drive bay? Was it the same one as this? http://www.frozencpu.com/products/11757/hdc-77/Akasa_HDD_Cooler_Anti-Vibration_Suspension_Set_AK-HD03-BK.html?tl=g43c12s852

I already bought this case. I would like to know if the coolermaster v8 will fit in this case? The reason I ask is because I currently have a huge storm sniper case and it looks like it is 2 inches from the window. The window is curved out so without the curve the window would almost touch the coolermaster v8.

It'll be tight - I've found a review that said they measured 160mm of clearance with the plastic cover over the side fan mounts of the case installed. It has a tab that clicks in to secure it to the side panel - and it projects into the inside a bit.

The CM V-8 is listed as having a height of 158mm.

If you have the cover removed for extra ventilation, you get back a few mm of clearance at the expense of noise reduction.

Also - the V-8 has a removable top cover that may give more clearance - but it won't look as good.

I did find another review that seems to think anything 160mm or shorter will fit no problem:

Just finished tidying up the cables, so now seemed like a good time to post pics.

honestly, there must be some school of clean cable management or something you all go to!

Do two fans on one said of the rad actually help performance...more than 1c?

The first time I do cable management in a new case it takes an hour or so. The next time I do it in the same case it takes me as long as it takes to move the cables.

so... is the secret to use extension cables or something, so you can tuck cables into the nearest hole, and have enough to get them where they need to get?

One of those is actually a gutted fan that's acting as a fan shroud. I can't say I've seen much of a performance difference (especially with a push/pull setup) but it's supposed to help with noise. *Shrug*

If you have short cables I guess. All my cables have ample length to get to where I need to go.

That makes more sense.
