On the website of Corsair I can not find this info..
It will indeed fit. You can't put four fans on it, but the H110 should fit.

If I remember correctly, the top fan mounts are 120/140mm capable.

okay, thanks for the quick reply thumb.gif

Another question: which fan (140mm) should I use for the Corsair Hydro H110, to be as quiet as possible ?

It's not so much that they lie, but rather they use test methods/environments geared to be flattering. There's probably a bit of lying thrown in for good measure.

I am getting an HX 650, so hopefully I will have enough room to mount it on the floor exhausting out the bottom. If not, I will see if it fits in the upper rear exhaust. And I could alway mount it on the top and put anotherfan up there next to it. I decided to wait on replacement fans and try the stock fans out. That way, if I do change them, I have an idea if it actually made a difference. Plus if I end up having to open the top of the case, I will probably change everything out to Noctua to keep it as quiet as possible.

Does anybody think I will have a problem fitting a 140mm fan+radiator in the upper/rear exhaust position? i.e. will my mobo get in the way? (place your bets)

Hopefully I can put up some picks in a week or two!

If you are going to try to put the 140 on the bottom, be aware that the hx650 has issues with a chirping sound. Corsair will typically replace with an hx750. If you're basing the fit on the dimensions of the hx650, just double check the hx750 works too, but hopefully you have no problems with the 650.

Brand new here, but I was looking for a 550D club and I found this one; so I registered.

Cable management is a bit sloppy due to the fact that my board only supports USB 2.0 (Upgrading soon, I just haven't decided to what yet)

I need to get the sleeved set from Corsair and 24/8 pin extensions from NZXT also some all black SATA cables. (Though the red one for the Optical drive was the only color I could find in (left angle / right angle).

I'm surprised no one has made use of the 2 extra fan mounting points on the HDD cages. (I have since removed the AF120s from the HDD cages).

I think most 550d owners are going for silent builds so least amount of fans possible. And if they want to up the intake they'll put a fan on the bottom rather than the drive cage.

I still want to use a 550D for my planned build. I'm thinking it should be able to handle it. When I had my 6950's in a 550D, they were about 140-150 on load, and they dispersed heat into the case. The three cards I want push air out the back rather than into the case... I think it'd work. Probably be about 160-175F, but that's not bad considering I won't be overclocking them..

Can't wait to join the club, ordering my 550D soon for my B-Day.

Just got my GTX 670 SC 4gig, needing to upgrade to a better board (currently on a P8Z68) for better control of case fans. Will upgrade to noctua's when the time comes, but I am beyond excited for a quite case.

Mine isn't that loud, it's actually quieter than my old build with 5 x 80 mm fans.

I can't make use of the bottom intake as I have a long PSU. (I can install it, but then I lose the full bottom row connectors on the PSU)

Did you find that you needed those extra fans on the drive cage? If you did tests what kind of improvements did you see?

That makes sense for your setup. I have an hx750 too, but never planned on adding more fans.
