How do I change the voltage?

My mobo is Asus P5GC-MX/1333. I want to change the voltage but my bios has no such options frown.gif and I am running the latest version of the BIOS. Please tell me how do I change the voltage?

There is a voltage option on most motherboards. You probably have your BIOS on simple mode and not advanced. Check out your manual online or the book and see if there is a key combination you can press to change it to advanced mode. This will reveal a lot more options. For example on Gigabyte boards you press Ctrl+F1 to change modes.

Am not a noob. I contacted asus and they said my mobo doesn't allow to alter the voltages.

I'm sorry but after some research, it would appear that your MoBo wasn't really meant for OCing. If I were you and I'd really want to OC some, I'd seriously consider upgrading to a newer board, something along the lines of a Sandy Bridge, Sandy Bridge-E or Ivy Bridge, or its AMD equivalents.
If you just google for your motherboard + overclocking, you come across a hundred people asking on all kinds of forum why their MoBo doesn't allow them to be OCed.

But if OCing isn't all that important for you and you'd want your money rather spent on something else, I'd advise you to stop OCing as it seems your MoBo was never designed for that.

UHHHHHHHH what are you talking about I can overclock upto 3.10 GHZ without a problem. I said how to change the voltage not overclocking. You should read the thread title before posting.
