gtx 670 or SLI gtx 570?

Thread Starter
Hey guys I'm currently rocking a:

http://www.amazon.com/N570GTX-Twin-Frozr-Power-Edition/dp/B004XVMAKU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1336886415&sr=8-1

My question is, would you guys recommend either selling this card and picking up a:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130783

Or SLIing my gtx 570?

I have never really SLI'd before and I'm not sure if it is worth doing. Price wise won't matter too much because I will hopefully be selling my gtx 570...

Assuming getting a gtx 670 is better, do you guys have any suggestions on where a good place to sell my gtx 570?

Thanks!

I would go with the 670. One 670 will perform very close to the 570 sli setup and will allow you to add another 670 later on for almost double the performance.

make your life easier, sell your GTX570 and buy a single GTX670.

that said, GTX570 will give you more FPS, but when you take away the microstuttering factor, they won't be too apart.

Another vote for the 670. Mines on the way to replace my 470 SLI. I'll be doing some benches to compare the two setups, old and new, over the next few days.

570 SLI is faster but because a single card requires less FPS to appear smooth vs. SLI, the max playable settings between the two setups should be roughly equal.
