Normal?

When I run games in borderless windowed it runs at ~40±10 fps. (e.g. Starcraft 2, League of Legends)

Is there any way to resolve this?

Specs are in my signature.

It would probably help if you explained what you think needs resolving. All you've said is you get 30-50 fps in games.

I get 30-50 FPS in games that are running in borderless/windowed mode and would like that number to be on par as to what they would be if I were running it full screen (I like the snappier alt-tab with borderless/windowed, especially when I'm playing a multiplayer game where I'd wanna switch music, etc.)

The reason for lower FPS in Windowed Mode is because your processor and memory are both performing more tasks when in Windowed Mode than Full Screen because your resources are not focused on the game.

It may also be because your GPU isn't utilizing the game as well as it should in Windowed Mode, therefore there's poor framerate.

You could try disabling Aero.
