[ HWI ] 13 gaming mice reviewed - Page 6

Misleading title. I thought you conducted a review for 13 different mice. That would be great. smile.gif

Nice reviews, been looking mice/mousepads more and more, starting to get a bit bored of mine.

Sensor location of G500/G700 are located towards the tip of the mouse. G9x is closer to center.

At first I resented myself for becoming a Corsair fanboy, because I dislike fanboys in general, no company or thing is perfect. But damn, Corsair is in the top tier of products at every new turn they make! Memory, SSD's, Cases, Mice, Fans, Keyboards, Headsets, Sound systems (Can't wait for them to make a 5.1). They are all top-of-the-line and amazingly priced for the quality they offer. I am seriously in the middle of replacing every part of my PC that wasn't already Corsair with its Corsair counterpart. Corsair GPU's? Corsair Monitors? BRING IT ON!

No, that's called spreading yourself too thin and pulling a Sony.

Really not a review in its truest since. More a preview, like someone else already mentioned. All these mice are of good enough build quality I am sure. Really, the only thing that should be reviewed is the sensor. Almost everything past that is user preference. As long as the build quality is up to snuff and the sensor has been reviewed as being good, the rest is opinion and will vary greatly between everyone.

I've stuck with the G9x for about 6 months now and while I do enjoy it, my hand starts getting stiff and cramped. I think it has to do with the small size versus my grotesque hands. Any info on large mice is appreciated.

i had the same problem, and ultimately the death adder or mamba are the only mice i can use i need something i can nearly rest my whole palm on, otherwise my hand ain't going to be moveable after an hour lol.

I love mine but sometimes I wish it had more buttons. Only having 5 buttons can be a drawback.

Terrible "review" by the way.

There's a lot of people that don't have a problem with the glossy/smooth sides of the Vanilla/3.5G DeathAdder. I personally like the Black Edition, though, because my Vanilla DeathAdder would make my hands sweat. The sweat and the oils of my hand combined made for a really unpleasant feeling. Before I got used to the Black Edition, though, I had trouble gripping the side of it. Somehow the glossy/smooth sides of the Vanilla DeathAdder were easier for me to grip.
