I got Crysis 2 working as well!

I have NO idea why it says CFX is detected, so I included a GPU-Z screenshot. Probably because of that HD 3000.
Looks like a small win on average for the 670, while my 7970s got a higher minimum framerate

Hrm, yeah, against my 2600k also at stock with a pair of 448s, we come out similar on max frames, you absolutely crush me on minimums however.

Crysis 2 is hard on the ROPs. Which causes the 7970 to fall behind.

The theoretical numbers says that the 7970 should have identical ROP-processing power compared to the 680. I'm guessing it's more to do with tesselation or shaders running better on Nvidia-hardware.

If I wasn't too busy folding for CC, I could post some benches w/ a single gtx 480, but it seems amd655 has it taken care of. These are some nice results though, thanks for doing this guys.

Thread Starter
I've added the "AMD Compatible benchmarks" section to the bottom of the OP, and added Arni's benchies, Dimmy's new OC'd Crysis 2 score, and some of mine from last night.

Note that in the AMD section, I'm skipping Crysis for AMD/nV comps, and switching to Warhead Frost.

Arni I would love to have your Heaven, Vantage, Mafia 2 (you can just use the demo) benches smile.gif

Thanks for everyone's contributions thumb.gif

Would be cool if you could make a spreadsheet table with poster name, card type, OC'ed card clocks, and their score/fps for each game depending on how much extra time you have to devote to this thread. If this thread ends up getting a lot more benches, the table should make it a lot easier to compare the different cards to 670 in each game.

Edit: Also, i'd be willing to make the table and update it and you could just add it to your post if you don't feel like doing it, i don't mind thumb.gif
