So really, they're paying these guys 20-50k for no reason and taking even more of a loss. Yes, people should pay if they want to see all these shiny new movies and what not but lets face it, a small portion of those films are ever worth the money paid to see them.
Thats not always true, Some content is not available in all markets. Thus the grey pirate market pops up to fill the gap.
Disneys Song of the South is available in europe, but not in the USA.
Sometimes piracy is cuased by lack of content availability. I imported the dvd for my wife's collection and converted it to ntsc.
