New Gaming/Browsing/Timekilling System - Your thoughts? ($2,000 Max limit on the budget)

Thread Starter
I'm still looking over cases and cooling options, right now the goal is to setup this with stock voltages and cooling and then over clock it once it's cooling is fully setup.

CPU - Intel Core i7-2700K Sandy Bridge 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core
Mother Board - ASUS P8Z77-V LE LGA 1155 Intel Z77
RAM - Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
GPU - MSI N670GTX-PM2D2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 670 2GB
Primary System Drive - Corsair Force Series 3 CSSD-F120GB3A-BK 2.5" 120GB

$1,149.95 on Parts listed

This leaves ruffly $800 for "Extra's" Case/Cooling and possible tweaks and and "Stepping it up" upgrades.

Cooling plans - Liquid cooling on the CPU, North Bridge, and GPU.

Notes: I have yet to find a GTX 670 water block. oh FYI I hate fancy flashy cases....

What are your thoughts on:

Cooling?
Where to spend that extra $800?

Note: Saving money is just as important to me as spending that extra 800 some where smart. Keep in mind the plan is to cool the hell out of it and then push it to a nice stable speed.

Since this is a gaming rig, save some money by getting the 3570K cpu instead of the 2700K, there's not much of a difference when it comes to performance between a HT cpu to non HT cpu on games.

case , its pretty much a personal preference, its upto you, you might look on to NZXT switch 810, its pretty decent in features

for watercooling, xspc rx 240 kit will fit the budget

This. If you want hyperthreading and want to stick with sandy bridge, I'd recommend the 2600k. Pretty much the same chip at a lower price.

Rasa kits will fit your budget, you could get an RX 240 and an arc midi, those fit large 240's, and it isn't flashy, it looks quite nice. Cooling NB is absolutely useless IMO, but you can do what you want.

I would definitely bump it up to a 680 if I were you.
