it should say something like "with purchase of a qualifying CPU" so the discounted price is included.

i have pretty much always bought a CPU/ motherboard at microcenter because the savings justifys paying tax.
i also used a 5% off coupon thing to save a bit more.

im thinking about getting the ivy bridge combo but the board i want is always out of stock. also they raised the price on it. but i can pricematch it with newegg to bring it back down.
