Hey guys I recently got a Dell Studio 1737 as a gift which is currently running a Core 2 Duo T6400 @ 2.0Ghz and thats pretty powerful but for what I do I need more power and was wondering if my board would support upgrading to a Core 2 Duo T9600 @ 2.8Ghz and if it would even be worth the money. I looked around for a while and kept getting mixed reviews on if it would work or not, originally I wanted to upgrade to a core 2 quad but I thought that may be to big of a jump, so any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys.
