hmm... well... this is OCN. the faster the better.

this is where we come to see what is up next for your own rig. discuss the new tech, the pros the cons.

as far as raid 0 is concerned, pick up any hdd thats 7200 rpm, or any sata III ssd. and play with em for a week. then double them and run them in raid 0. all the same programs games etc. awesome!

The drive is still very new, with firmware updates, access time may go down; we won't know till OCZ gives it a try. But SSD's are already galaxies ahead of mechanical drives in everything except space (at the moment) and price/Gb (which will inevitably change as NAND prices decrease).

I think OCZ has a great drive on their hands, even if it doesn't excel at everything from the previous generation.

You making this up right? You really don't sound like you have any idea what you're talking about.

You can't the difference between a SSD that has a tenth of a second access time or a hundredth of a second access time unless some benchmark told you, so no it doesn't matter.
