Ninja looting is what ARPG's are about ^^ If you're not fast, you're last. Also D3 felt like a dumbed down port to me. I level up and i get a new skill chosen for me, really? WOW! And the skill tree in PoE is not "massive to be massive". Endless ways of building your "toon" to just how you want it. As it says on the site you can put 100's of hours into making him/her/it better. The only + i give D3 over PoE is it does have more loot. But, PoE has a lot too, so it's all good.

After playing PoE this weekend it will be the 1st and possibly the last beta i am ever going to actually buy.

Anyone here played Tera? My brother wants to play it and wants me to join him. With D3 release tomorow, I doubt I'll have any time left for any other game, but if Tera is actually good, I might make some time to play with brother. I never even heard of the game.

I wouldn't call it a Diablo killer but I do seem to like it more. The skill tree isn't massive to be massive, it adds the ability to fine tune your character the way you want it

i would check out the Tera thread here in the games section... lots of us have played it.

The short of tera is - it is a Korean grindfest to the max, the combat system is more active than most MMO's and the Big A$$ Monsters are fun to fight, i'm just not lookin for a solid grind like that. Anybody who likes that sort of thing, Tera is very pretty and will leave you LOTS of things to work on...

I have only managed to play for a few hours but so far I like it. D3 seems to have taken on a little bit of a cartoonish style that’s not too appealing to me, it’s also a little too directed in the path you can choose. You choose this character so you can do only this. . . . I still plan to get it and will still play it, just could have been so much better.

I just started playing this game last night. I like it allot so far, the skill tree is massive which provides you the ability to fine tune your character. It also doesn’t seem to railroad you when it comes to abilities and passive perks which is great.

I like both and will probably play both. All I know is I am going to play the crap out of Diablo 3. Path of Exile will need to earn my gaming time. It's doing a great job so far biggrin.gif

TBH just get Torchlight 2 as I think it will be at least just as fun for us that like Diablo 3 and maybe more fun for those who think Diablo 3 went in a wrong direction with the streamlining of characters (ie no skill points).
