Ah but it means a lot. It means that if I want to buy one right this moment, I can't. If I go and search online, I cannot find one in stock to buy. Nvidia has not delivered for the consumer and hurt themselves. I think that is obvious to see.

Saying that if you can afford 4 of 670's, you can buy 680's is not a reasonable argument.
The technology isn't working as it should, that is the problem - no matter how you try to overlook it. From what I understand, 670 performs very much like the 680 but 20% cheaper. I would like to see how they compare against the 680's in quad SLI.
If you think that quad sli is pointless you're missing the point.

NVidia straight up said they didn't have time to QA it.

Is this news supposed to shock us all?

A GTX670 in 4way would be daft, those that spend that kind of money would be buying the GTX680 anyway.

this popped up on maxim pc today too.

honesty i dont see how nvidia should feel obligated to do this.

i do however feel that amd needs to do the same w the 7950s(unless i missed a trifire 7950 review)

This makes no difference, who would want to blow 1600 dollars on GPU's anyway.
