I don't want highest quality switches, as I said regular mice don't have dclick problem. I've seen a lot of problems on web about G500, it's probably an assembly problem and it's also explained this happens because of static electric trapped inside the mouse. It's so irritating I don't want a chance to live this a second time so no, I will not take action about this POS. I'd rather risk it on another brand.

The very first A4Tech mice used OMRON switches.

Nowadays its TTC and Huano all the way.

That's nice but it's not available here, we got XL-750BH, XL-760H, F7 and F3. F7 is too long. The others are around F3 size.

All the F series mice apparently use the PixArt sensor found in the Zowie MiCo and the SS Kinzu V2. So if you go with one of those expect to use 800/400 dpi. Also, they're all V-track mice which is nice.. I've had it track nicely on a mirror thumb.gif

so between the F mice they all differ by their shape so I'd suggest to try each one out and see which you're comfortable with.

I went and bought F3. First impression, looks like i will not regret ditching Logitech at all. So this F3 is 800/400 dpi compared to G500's 5700(that's probably lower in reality right) dpi ? So be it, i'm done with "quality" mice.

Ergonomy wise, not the best fitting mouse. However there's probably no best fit mouse for my medium sized hands. F7 was longer, just like a Regular a4tech BW35
R8E47-2P82B-37G4V3-44SN.jpg
But they are almost palm grip. That's why I went with F3 which is claw grip.

Hmm, ofc it feels different from G500, tracking wise. I did not install the software, im using the red/green flashing mode, whtever that is and windows pointer speed is 5 (just before middle point) That gives the near g500 feel.

Install the software, it's the best part of all a4tech mice if you can figure it out. BUT only use it to edit profiles, the F3 has on-board memory so it saves the mouse so the software is only for creating your profiles, then exit it when you're done.

I don't need any profile. I'm not that pro gamer. The default functions of the buttons suffice. I forgot to tell about the buttons. They are loud, just like G500. However I checked F7 buttons and they sound a lot different, thicker sound (lower frequency) Moreover, just like G500, left click and right click sound different on F3 too.

Shouldn't the windows setting be at 6? It probably feels different because the F3 has prediction, light off and the first light in the dpi is 400 and 800 dpi respectively. The friend I sold mine to bound his keys for Photoshop/Browsing/Gaming profiles to the side buttons. And the little button next to RMB is by default bound to 3x-click.
