No room for the Coler Master TPC 812?

Hi everyone,

I'm the owner of a Hyper 212 plus, the cooler master TPC 812 is coming. I'm using dual channel dominator memory 8gb (4gb x 2).
I want upgrade my memory to 16gb without change actual for 2 8gb dims, because i have no room with the future tpc 812 cpu cooler.

503
you can see the cpu cooler is in diagonal, or the push fan is in that position, almost no room for additional memory.

The TPC 812 is bigger than 212+ and i have no much space for the second set of memory. Any solution?

210

I tried only pull configuration, but the temperature rises like 4-5ºC
with th tpc 812 you get so much cooler temps as any corsair hydro series. and i hav no possibility to get a water cooling system. mad.gif

Any suggestions? thinner fans, another cooler. i dont know.

1. option: get low profile ram
2. option: get something like a Prolimatech Armageddon and two high rpm 140mm fans.

nothing suggests that the 812 is actually as good as you think wink.gif

hey nastycircus,
looks like the only problem is the fan hanging a tad too low?
you can mount the fans slightly higher so you can use all memory slots
the TPC 812 uses clip on brackets, so just pop them off and move the fan slightly higher, and then pop them on again smile.gif

yeah, like evulmunk brought up, reposition the inboard fan to clear the RAM fins.

My 812 clears my Gskill ripjaws X heatsinks. They are pretty close but it does fit. I'm pretty sure it will clear the dominators' heatsink. Like Evilmunk said, make sure the clips are set as high as possible on the cooler. On my board the fan actually covers the first 2 dimms!!!
