Again, that's not the case I'm getting and I'm willing to spend more on the case now (around $110) since I still have a bunch left on my budget ($1500). I really don't see how I could upgrade this build any more, is there anything really? I'll probably settle with this but I'd appreciate any suggestions cause I do still have a couple hundred left on my budget. Keep in mind that I'm only going to game, no video editing or rendering so an i7 really isn't a viable upgrade.

Great build. Only thing I would get is a better CPU cooler and swap out the ram for some samsung low voltage ram. And don't foget to grab an additional HDD for your data. Grab whatever case you absolutely love since your budget permits it.

as for case I HIGHLY suggest a fractal design define XL, corsair carbide 400r/500r, or a Cooler Master Storm Trooper. All are excellent cases (imo) in terms of aesthetics and features

Go with a Intel 520 SSD instead. Way faster and just as stable.

Maybe this is what azeem was referring to.

I've been to Fry's and MicroCenter, have put my hands on the Storm, the various Carbides and the NZXT cases, and they are definitely made to be "lightweight" you could say. But they bend, flex, skew and dent very easily. They are not the kind of cases that hold up over time, receiving build after build like an Antec or Lian Li.

The features and design touches are all great but the bosses at these companies have obviously trimmed costs and left their cases very overpriced. I'm only a Carbide 300R owner because it was $55 on Craigslist. tongue.gif

I would not worry about overclocking there would be no need for it. People only overclock to get extra performance or just for fun smile.gif
