The TOP version's core is clocked 157 MHz than the regular version to 1137 MHz. From what I've seen, OC'ing the core to 1137 should be no problem on your regular card, but can't say that with absolute certainty.
Honestly, I would first find out what the max OC is on the card you have. If you're not happy with it, I would return it and wait for the TOP model if you have the option to return and can wait. It should only be another week or 2 until the TOP card is available. But if you reach close to 1300 MHz on the core or even higher, I wouldn't bother because you would gain nothing by swapping.
