Increasing Mhz or tightening timings?

Which one yields better performance? Even the tiniest increase? tongue.gif

timing, bigger increase for less work.
but since ram these days dont like tight timing much your best bet is bumping the frequency.

I have mine downclocked to like 1080mhz and tightened the timings to 7-7-7-21

It entirely depends on what you do--best way is to set, test, and see. Might be a zone where moderately OC'd plus tightened timings (within ability) is better than a high OC plus looser timings.
