Piledriver Release Date? - Page 12

Vishera prices (in Czech Republic), specifications and Turbo Core 3.0 feature

AMD FX-8350 (Piledriver) details

Doing some math, Vishera prices in the USA should go like this:
FX-8350: $235, FX-8320: $186, FX-6300: $150, FX-4300: $122.

I like FX-8320's price, and of course the last sentence: "We will say more in a few days in the review."

Interesting info about Turbo 3.0 as well.

I pay little or NO attention to turbocore. I disable it as hinders performance in most cases. I much rather have all my cores (8) running at my choice of overclock . Somebody asked if you run a bulldozer at 4.8 GHZ and a Vishera at same frequency won't you only have only 7% performance increase. I do not think one can stably run bulldozer at 4.8 GHZ unless one has liquid nitrogen cooling. Once I went above 4.4 GHZ I noticed increased system instability. MY motherboard is an Asus Crosshairs V and I have a Corsair H60 water cooling unit.in a Rosewill Blackhawk full tower gaming case with 3 230 mm fans and several 180 mm fans for the hard drives and ssd devices. I believe Vishera with its thermal mesh technology will overclock higher than Bulldozer, preserving system stability at the same time.

Well then someone forgot to tell my Bulldozer it's not supposed to be running at 4.82Ghz on air. And those would be pretty good prices if they hold true!

I can run a bulldozer at 4.8 GHZ with a simple H100 cooler.

EDIT
liquid nitrogen cooling is more like 6.0GHZ+ range.
PD is do to be relaesed on 10/23/2012.

hmms odd my bulldozer can do 5.2ghz with stability. I just have to increase the voltage to 1.55 volts and set my fans to max on my antec 920. Its annoyingly loud, so i run daily at 4.9ghz and near silence.
