you should be able to right click on the disk in the bottom area and see a format option

well you should see all of your drives and their partitions down at the bottom some will have blue bars above them. if the drive is not the boot drive, the format option should be there, if everything is plugged in and hooked up right which from what you've said it should be.

you do have to right click on the partition of the drive, which it should only have one.

I had this happen too. What I did was unplug all the power to the pc and all the cables from the SSD. Wait an hour and them plug them all back in, it recognized it right away without fail. I have done that twice now.

After the line of create partition, it shows three commands, Partition, Volume, Vdisk to create.
Is there a line that was skipped?

So the drive is partitioned and formatted. But I can't boot from my original boot drive without going in to bios.

edit disregard this (Click to show)
that is odd. I did technically skip one.

After create partition primary

you need to type
Code:
select partition 1

then do the
Code:
format fs=ntfs quick

but it sounds like you hung up pressing enter on the create partition part?

Are you not able to change your boot priority in the bios? If you can't find the option you could always jsut swap your sata cables from one to the other. placing the other one first.

How does swapping the SATA cables switch the priority of the drives?
