hm.. go to the bios, make the boot priority to boot on SSD first, HDD 2nd etc. 2nd. when you boot, try and enter the boot menu (which would sometimes be the F12 key, might be different in your case) once you enter the boot menu, select the SSD (make sure the windows DVD is in your drive), it should say "To boot from drive, press any key to continue" if you got to this part, just follow the instructions to complete the installation.
If you are still having problems after you have set the SSD as the primary boot drive, then i would try use another PC, get an updated firmware, and update your SSD, then try again.

I hope that gives you an idea what you are looking to do to try make it work. good luck.

extra: update your sig rig into your profile so other people would know what you are working with to help you out more specifically.

Would love to see what motherboard you got. Last weekend I downgraded the PSU in my HTPC and then Windows wouldn't load anymore. I didn't care much since I was going to replace the hdd anyways and thought it got corrupted. Today I installed W7 and had sata mode in AHCI and after installing drivers and restarting Windows wouldn't load again and restart at the Win7 Logo. I tried installing W7 again and I get the same message he is getting.

Maybe it's our motherboards or Bios? I'm wondering if you have an AM3+ board with an unstable bios like I think I might have.

Bet you guys a nickle if you select IDE for your SATA mode you stop having problems. Firmware on SSD side, formatting, and BIOS revision not quite getting along together causes this problem often. I have run into it a half dozen times at least. Depending on the controller your ssd has(to lazy to look it up) you may see an increase in read/write speeds (Indilinx) or a decrease (SandForce), running in IDE mode, so I would do research before choosing what SATA configuration to run. Google SSD: AHCI vs IDE for some good articles and comparisons.
