Plextor M3 SSD

Thread Starter
In lookin for what SSD to get, I have really been considering the Plextor M3 SSD. The specs of the drive seem to match or out-perform some of the other SSD manufacturers. But one things I've noticed is that there isn't much talk about the Plextor brand, when it comes to their SSDs. Is this just cause they are new to the SSD market? Anyone have feedback on the Plextor brand of SSDs?

Plextor SSDs are good. But I feel there's better choices like a Crucial M4, Intel 520 series, or Samsung 830 series.

I have both Crucial M4's and Plextor M3 drives and both have been running solid. One of the best deals out there right now are 128GB M4s. Amazon has them for 109.99.

My Plextor has not given me any issue. I like the better Toggle NAND it has over the M4's slower synchronous NAND and 5 year warranty. However, what is the price difference you are seeing? Btw. that and other drives? Here are my recommendations: www.overclock.net/t/1179518/seans-ssd-buyers-guide-information-thread
