I hear MS is pushing for LESS RAM on their WP7 devices. App developers are going to be limited to just 64mb.

This is because Apple, after hearing word of this, reprogrammed Siri to not say the Nokia Lumia. There's a follow up story to this: Here

The phones can already be considered mid spec at this point.

The 900's still on a Snapdragon S2/Adreno 205. Really. WP7.

Really. $800 for old tech?

More responsive UI, better app integration, higher build quality thanks to the polycarbonate shell, the lowest anti-glare screen of any smartphone.

Android doesn't need more than two cores unless all you do is decode videos(on a phone, really?) as nothing else uses so many threads.

Only a handful of games make use of the GPU. Development is not there to take advantage.

There really is no need for a quad-core phone except for epeen.

Which would you buy then?

Galaxy S2($480), Galaxy Nexus($450), Galaxy Note($540) or Lumia 900($600)?

I'll probably throw in some HTC in the fray for "Build quality" concerns.

HTC Sensation ($420)

As others have already said, you really cant beat the screen quality of a windows phone.

I believe that using SkyDrive over 3/4G counts against ur data plan. Also you cannot upload files larger than 100GB and I believe you cannot upload mp3s. To me that makes it basically useless. If only more windows phones had microSD support.

If games are a priority for you, a windows phone is probably not what you want, although I have some decent games on mine. I have a full version of Minecraft called SurvivalCraft on mine. Seeing as MS put the Xbox Live thing on the OS I'm sure there will be more games for it in the near future.
