SM3.0 = Shader Model 3.0 right? Both my 6600GT and 6800XT support that, as well as OpenGL 2.0. So i don't understand why ppl say the 7 series has so much more features than the 6 series (i can understand other things, but i don't get y they say about SM3).

so with a 3500+ and a gig of ram, and that agp 7800GS, you can get highest settings on BF2, why would you want more right now...

The XFX 7600 GT is your best bet. you hear a lot of crap saying that the 7800 is faster but its not. Also you will here that it can beat the 7600gt if you OC the 7800 unfortunately niether card OC's very well due to the bridge chip. So in any case the 7600GT is the way to go.

I also have a 7800GS and am clocking it at 480/1400. It is vastly superior to the 6800gt. 7111 3DMark2K5. It is cool even when oc'd to this level. The BFG sold at 200USD should be attractive enough. If you'd like to spend more, wait for the x1950pro agp If you'd like to spend less, get the 7600GT. 7600GT is a monster card in its class.
