Yeahh..My AsRock RMA was about as bad they get..The worst..ever! thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif :lachen.gif:
Needless to say..I no longer recommend or use AsRock products..3 dead boards in 6 mos? No thx thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif
1 blew up and took out everything..cpu+psu+board+backup board due to fried psu (ram and hdd lived)
New board blowing up? Shoulda got Biostar,Gigabyte, or Asus tongue.gif

I actually had the same thing happen to me with an X48 board. Top of the board near the 8 pin power (looked like a light show biggrin.gif ) and it blew a hole in the board and took my E8400 with it. RMA'd the board and Intel sent me a new chip.
