Microcenter now carrying the 27" 2560x1440 Korean IPS monitors - Page 40

I've noticed that on the eBay listings for Korean monitors their graphic card charts say that the 5770 isn't supported. Would this be true for this monitor? My card is in my rig sig.

I would probably upgrade my card anyways since I want two of these. I don't think it would be powerful enough to support them.

I am not sure what exact chart you're referring to but I have seen some that are complete junk and not true. As long as the video card has a dual-link DVI-I or DVI-D connection, almost all video cards do these days, it should be able to run this monitor fine.

Since this is thread is about Microcenter Auria 2560x1440, I will answer based on my experience with it. Your XFS 5770 will fully support it if you connect it to the correct Dual-Link DVI Port (One of them may be only a Single Link DVI) - BUT you may not be able to access BIOS with that connection and get a blank screen until the Windows Login/load and the AMD drivers load. Your card also has a DisplayPort output for full 2560x1440 support which you can also use to connect to the Microcenter Auria 2560x1440 - that connection it will display bios, at least the one I got to play with before I returned it to my friend...

Any ebay listing I've seen for a Korean monitor has that chart.

I'm pretty much in love with this monitor because of that displayport and would use it over DVI.

But it seems like this monitor is a winner either way for me. I think I'll start off with one and then save up for another one. I can always use my 20" as another monitor.

I got my crossover 27" monitor, did have a few issues at first not sure why it was happen but i was getting lines going across the screen but after restarting pc and updating AMD graphics centre it seems to have sorted it out hopefully.

I ran test i have no dead pixels which im happy about, but it was a bit too bright for me out of the box does anyone know which is the best settings to use, i turned down the brightness using the button for now.

Also i found the writing and desktop a bit small at 2560 x 1440 maybe just use to my old monitor to much but is it ok to have the settings at 1920 x 1080?

I did notice watching a bbc iplayer that moving imagine seem to give me a bit of headace like it wasnt moving as fast as my old monitor maybe ghosting or something? and writing seems a little weird but maybe its just me maybe i just need to get use to it.

But when i brought a pro Art monitor previously that writing was crystal clear and perfect with movies etc so not sure what im doing wrong, had to send pro art back though cause it had really bad backlight issue and replaced it with this crossover.

Also how u overclock it, can i just change setting from 60mhz to 90 or 100 is it easy to do?

ALso just read on another thread ask for blue or green board im very confused as i never asked for anything like this, what does it do?

Thank u

You can change the text etc. size in Windows to 125% and 150% thumb.gif
Don't know about the boards, but you can check it by openin the back of your monitor.

thanks im a dummy, made things bigger now, main issue was desktop icons were too small, but just seen how to make them bigger lol

Im using apple thunder bolt profile but it seems to be niot much different then default setting

Dont really wanna open the back as i break things easy lol

Im finding tex on websites as even on desktop icons even though i selected largest difficult to see , i feel like i have to strain my eyes to read.

I never had this issue with my old tn panel

So wondering if my monitor is broke? as im sure i dont need glasses otherwise would of had the issue with old monitor too

I'm getting mine this week.
Look around the forums, there are tons of colour profiles, I just can't remember where it was.
