Microcenter now carrying the 27" 2560x1440 Korean IPS monitors - Page 53

So I take it this is a good monitor? Gonna pull the trigger on something this week, but have reservations about buying something from Korea (worried that if something is wrong it'll be a pain to return)

I just got mine today and I have heavy anti-glare too. Feels similar to the U2412M's I have at work. Kinda disappointed but I haven't noticed any other issues yet that would warrant a replacement.

So I tried the 2560x1440 75hz profile on a number of games CS:GO, Crysis 3 beta, Two Worlds 2, and it seemed smoother. WIth Vsync on in Crysis 3 I was locked at 75 fps in waiting screen (I cant hit 75 in game), Two Worlds 2 with V Sync on I am locked at 75 fps in game. Am I really running at 75hz? Is this an accurate way to test?

Yeah, congratulation :)

A friend and I went to Microcenter yesterday and picked up one of these monitors. We both seem to have gotten lucky with 0 dead pixels. It's really amazing seeking this monitor next to my 24' Asus monitor. I don't think I'll mess around with overclocking the Hz just yet. tongue.gif

Is there an official owners club for these monitors? I'd love to join it if there is.

Interesting. Mine is a glossy display.

I also bought a panel from the MC here in Houston and received one with heavy anti glare. Where did you guys buy the glossy panels from? I am seeing if it is worth it to try to exchange for another one from my MC here in Houston.

For anyone that bought a Auria and had it shipped. How long did it take until they got it in the mail? My invoice is saying it won't ship until 2/9/13 and today is 2/6/13. Seems like a long time.

Ordered Thursday night, shipped Friday, got it the following Tuesday at 8am with no damage at all. $17 for standard shipping wasn't all too bad for that kinda service imo. Mine shipped out of Texas if that helps you at all.

not aware of anti glare? Is this a feature that comes basic with the model or some coating Micro tried to put on them for you?.
