Thanks! I'm actually thinking about doing the removing-the-AG-cover-surgery but I'll probably will try to calibrate the colors with my preference for the meantime.

After calibrating it, i found no need to remove the AG coating. its actually not too bad.

Yes, it wasn't too bad at all. Would you be so kind to share your settings?

I guess my only complaint is the plastic base not being sturdy.

Awesome. The only thing left should these combo makes it better would be getting used to looking smaller objects lol. It's seems everything is small looking on that monitor.

I use these settings as well and it looks great. thumb.gif The default brightness is REALLY bright(at least on the glossy monitors). I had to to turn it down to 35 or so.

Look, its simple, you wiggle a pencil in front of the monitor with a white background at medium to low brightness, if you see a strobe effect it uses PWM dimming which will ruin your eyes...

You wont see the strobing effect at 100% brightness since the LEDs are always on.

no strobing with my imac 27", which is the same panel as glossy aurias.

I work at a micro center, I've always seen these boxes in the back but never really checked them out. I'll see if we have any glossy ones left.
