It fits...Overlords monitor housing is identical to Micro Center's. The inputs might not line up perfect but that's a minor issue.

This also means Nv software is bogas ? Or maybe I'm not understanding how to read or use the tool.

I had this conversation earlier in the thread. Ive tried everything out there and I am pretty confident I am running at 75hz. I did the Vsync test like you did. Also used the Nvidia overclocking feature with the same result. Even downloaded Powerstrip software and it said I was running at 75hz.

And when I calibrate do I use the monitor's own hardware setting or windows OS calibration? Thanks!

I recommend the Spyder4. You can get any version, they're the same hardware wise they just limit software options depending on which package you purchase. I have the Spyder4Elite which allows me unlimited calibrations on unlimited machines.

You would calibrate using the monitor's own hardware settings (RGB sliders) rather than windows OS calibration, since this ensures accuracy in fullscreen applications (read: games) as well as in Windows. You can still do Windows calibration for grey levels.

Hm, so I'm at 75hz now too I think, I used toastyx's tool. the refresh rate tool seems to work and power strip says it's at 75, it doesn't feel as smooth as the one at microcenter that was running 75Hz though but maybe that's me? I'm not really sure how to use the tool but fraps said it was running at 75fps. AA3 seems very choppy now but that could be my cpu not keeping up, I also can't pull 75fps so idk if I can call that reliable. tf2 feels ok though so idk lol. I also checked the color temp box in ccc but I don't have a colorometer, it looks better though. I can't seem to get the blacks to look good without enabling dcr. I'm a noob lol

DCR is dynamic contrast ratio, I know it changes the brightness based on if the image is light or dark but other than that I'm not too sure except that it makes it look a whole lot better lol

And yeah sounds like it, I don't have nvidia though so I can't say
