Try not to triple post, there's a multi quote button.

Anyways, if you can unlock to 6 cores. It helps in BF3 MP biggrin.gif

If it does bottleneck, you probably will not even notice it.

People exaggerate the concept of bottleneck. If your CPU is holding your GPU back increase image quality and the problem is solved.

It really depends on what games, my 955 @ 3.8 was slightly bottlenecking my 6950 on BF3 multiplayer, 560ti's in SLI run a little bit faster than a 7970 so I would imagine at least in bf3 you'd have one.

Agree with everyone, As long as gameplay is smooth you don't need to worry about bottlenecking. I believe with 960T your minimum average fps with 560ti SLI on a 1080p monitor will stay above 50+ with almost all games. SLI have very low or negligible stuttering issue than Crossfire, hence it's a good choice.

And yes if you want optimum scores in benchmarks and your main intention is to push the hardware to it's limit rather enjoying fantasy world of video gaming then its your choice to own a new CPU.

Yeah thanks for that, I feel abit more relieved. Oh btw, you said increase image quality, do you mean increase it in games or?

,
Yeah u are right, everyone has said this, its about the game, I don't see any signs of bottlenecking in bf3 (not that you could actually notice these things) it runs well and smooth smile.gif

Yes u are very right, my 560 ti is very powerful, can run most of the games thrown at it, I just overclocked it recently and it runs even better. Going to get that antec kuhler 620 mod.
I will try to overclock my cpu to 4.2ghz and that will be all! With my current speed, when running prime95, i get temps like 38 degrees, so I think that there is still room for overclocking. smile.gif
Thanks for the support. I will go SLI soon. tongue.gif
