Just my opinion.
Obviously the 670 is a damn good card for the price, but does not compete with 480 SLi.
670 is newer and a more desirable choice, i was just showing what could be done with the budget.
All i care about is raw power and smoothness.

- An overclocked GTX670 performs the same as a GTX680.
- A GTX680 performs better then a GTX590
- A GTX590 performs better then 2x GTX480 in SLI.
Also,
- A stock clocked GTX 670 performs almost the same as a GTX590
- A GTX590 performs better then 2x GTX480 in SLI.
So either way, overclocked or not, a GTX670 will perform better then 2x GTX480 in SLI.
EDIT: Also worth mentioning, is that a GTX480 still costs $230 new, so two of them would set you back $460. That's $60 more then a GTX670 for less performance.

You are correct.
Nearly all 480's come with a HDMI included too, specifically to fit that connection (mini HDMI).
