they still suck at balancing hardcore aspects of games

bliz is the king of casual not hardcore

Obviously, Blizzard is going to get involved in receiving payback from the administration process that GAME is undergoing in Australia... However, this doesn't mean that Blizzard will get it all back. They may lose $20AUD per game, maybe more, who knows. This did accomplish some good things though...

1. Kept their loyal fans happy.
2. Potentially allowed them to make more money through the RMAH (If that's available in Aus)
3. Positive publicity in the media.

All in all though, good show on them.

With the game being online the more people playing the more potential profit they make, from whatever avenues they derive profit from.
So in the interest of long term financial gain it is in Blizzards interest to have as many people playing their game as possible.

gonna have to go with this. sure there in it for the money, and i'm sure they have other motives, but you cant deny it's great of them for taking the hit upfront and helping out everyone whol lost out on the GAME fiasco
