This has nothing to do with the subject at hand, go back to your hate hole.
It's finally good to see a company take a step to put the consumer first instead of just having dollar signs in their eyes.

Obviously, Blizzard is going to get involved in receiving payback from the administration process that GAME is undergoing in Australia... However, this doesn't mean that Blizzard will get it all back. They may lose $20AUD per game, maybe more, who knows. This did accomplish some good things though...

1. Kept their loyal fans happy.
2. Potentially allowed them to make more money through the RMAH (If that's available in Aus)
3. Positive publicity in the media.

All in all though, good show on them.

...? Nice of you to make an off-topic reply just to bash Blizzard.

Where are all the other people here at OCN that were saying Blizzard doesn't care about their fans and all they do care about is money? This is a perfect example of the contrary and is great news for those affected.

I'll play devils advocate.

With the game being online the more people playing the more potential profit they make, from whatever avenues they derive profit from.
So in the interest of long term financial gain it is in Blizzards interest to have as many people playing their game as possible.

Well imagine if you were one of those gamers. You spent your $60 on DIII and you thought all hope was lost with GAME going out of business. Then you read that Blizzard will be taking care of you; must be a pretty nice feeling for them.
