I never played the first one for more than an hour but I am totally hooked on this. It has the classic Blizzard polish. Skills and abilities all feel unique as do enemies. The drop-in/out coop is really nice as well. I can see myself playing this for a long time!

Never played the first 2 here, but picked up diablo 3 just for something to play, and so far I'm digging it.

Try and find a demo, or a friend that has it and play it for a little bit. Playing the game is really the only way you will know for sure if you will like it. I have watched my friend play a few games, I tried them and while fun to watch, playing them was not as fun as I originally thought.

I think the easiest way to answer this question is, if you enjoyed Diablo 2- you should enjoy Diablo 3. The game play is very similar and so far I haven't come across anything that I've hated, aside from the server down time (but I expected it from Blizzard).

Fact is with the time they took to release D2 and D3... there is not that much *fanboy*... I played D1 the same way i played WoW back in 96 with a guild and lot's of RP in it and all and it was great for 2-3 years of D1... then came D2 we kept Rping but it wasen't the same... I still played D2 from day 1 until up to 2005. Im picking up D3 now and i just got my 1st toon to 10 so i can finally make a HC toon, wich is what i play for.

It's just a game, it's cheap... 50$ at least, just try it out, if you don't like it then go play something else... but from what ive seen , it's worth at least a playtrough Normal....

Thread Starter
Im looking for a fix to another issue i have run into with this game.
A member here was kind enough to give me a guest pass, I will return the favor when I can.

So while looking for a fix i decided to make this as it so far best describes my experience with D3 so far
