Asus Maximus Formula

Pulled from a buddies machine, tested and working.

I see it going for upwards of $150 on ebay, but that's with everything included I suppose.

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_775/Maximus_Formula/

Details:
- No accessories
- No IO Shield
- Only comes with chipset waterblock
- I have the Supreme FX II Card

eBay is eBay, obviously stuff are more expensive there than here. I'd say 80$ shipped for this board. It's a nice board, but quite outdated, and doesn't have the basic accessories, even the I/O plate.

Wasn't mine but it was never overclocked, ran completely stock. I don't have a C2D/Q to test it either.

The one with the waterblock for the NB is actually the "SE" model.

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_775/Maximus_Formula_Special_Edition/

I'd have to agree that at this point in time there is only so much that an X38 mobo will bring you, even if the BIOS can be flashed to the X48 Rampage Formula.

I think that the $70-$80 range is about right. Geeks had refurbs of these a while back for something along the lines of $55 or $60, so I just don't see how you could get much more than this.

i would have to agree that $75 - $80 shipped is reasonable smile.gif

Agreed, I don't see this mobo getting more than $85 shipped on these forums. Good luck!

I sold my ud3p for 80$ not too long ago and it sat for a bit. 80$ shipped is about the best you can hope for. Still an awesome board. FSB info would be helpful. Shop it around to some benchers, they're always looking for good 775 boards. smile.gif
