Good Reverse ATX Cases

Thread Starter
I know about the Raven, but in my opinion it's too small. My buddy has one, its a great case just not for me. Was thinking Case Labs but I don't really want to spend over 200, also I'm air cooling. I guess I could but I don't "want" to if there are other options. The FT02 is smaller than the Raven, so there's that. The TJ07 is pricey if I was going to spend that much I'd just get a Case Labs. Same with Little Devil. There is the AzzaTek Genesis 9000 but I'd have to mod it a lot to my liking, the window on that thing is not something I like at all. If there was a R-ATX Switch I'd be all over that, that's the kind of case/size I'm looking for, but alas. I'd also really like to have a gap between my GPUs on my motherboard, which would mean it would need 8, maybe 9 PCI-e slots (the second card would hang off the bottom of the motherboard).

Any other suggestions or have I covered all the decent ones? =/

You have covered pretty much everything. I don't know if this is big enough, but the price is right: Bitfenix Outlaw

You could also be the first to mod a Switch 810 to reverse ATX layout. I know they are similar in build to the Phantom and there are those around here that flipped those pretty easily.

I looked in the Switch 810 thread and it was talked about R-ATXing it but it wouldn't be easy, it would be a nice summer project for me though. I did look at the Outlaw, if it was 8 PCI-e I'd love it.

Appreciate the reply. smile.gif

No problem. Also, if you have the $$, Caselabs are ridiculously good cases. Puts everything else I have seen or used to shame.

If i was water cooling I would go Case Labs no doubt, would look goofy for air in my opinion.

Yeah, they are pretty empty without any wc gear, but you could always do a pedestal mod like I did:
Proof of concept build Was actually pretty simple. Just a little bit of measuring and drilling (minus the plexi). Even the plexi was pretty easy though, just time consuming as I did it with basic tools and a file. Total for parts would be around $200.

If you've got the funds for it, go for the Silverstone Temjin TJ11.
