iMac question for a friend.

Not the most familiar with the iMac, though I have a MB Pro and love it.

Basically, would the iMac with the i5 at 3.1ghz and the 6970M graphics processor be enough to run D3 at max settings?? That will be the only game that computer ever plays, so no needing to worry about it supporting BF3 or something like that.

That iMac should run D3 fine, for the most part. Just wondering, is there a reason he is wanting an iMac vs building a computer?
i luv core i7s!

The iMac is an awful price per performance choice. I mean it uses a mobile gpu, and not even a true performance mobile gpu. The IPS screen is kind of nice, but the glossiness ruins it.

If your friend waits a bit more, the iMac w/ Retina Display will probably land soon.

Those are supposed to have the 7970M or 7990M too, aren't they?
