Parents of the 80's (like mine) were pretty much all copyright violators. It was just common to record VCR movies. There were even "warnings" back then as well. Curious if ever someone in history was actually arrested for recording a VCR movie.

Yes there is nothing like spending £15 on a DVD or Blu-Ray to then be forced to watch 10 minutes of screens telling you to buy the movie you have already bought and if you download it without paying you could get a fine and possibly life in prison. thumb.gif

If anything these warnings encourage piracy.

If anything, they're gonna make it worse.

The people who rip movies don't care if the warning is there in the first place and it isn't transfered onto the pirated content so basically, it's a bit pointless.
