Is the Quickfire Rapid with Cherry MX browns available in a 88key (105) layout?

Hi there,

I'm trying to score a quickfire rapid with cherry mx browns. I want the EU 88key layout, and I can only find these boards with cherry blacks.
I don't care if its UK/Ger/Fr/nordic keycaps, the layout is the only thing that is important.

Does anyone know if these are even available on the EU market?

thanks!

I've looked for a very long time for something like this with browns. You're not going to find a "gaming" keyboard with anything a linear type key because for some odd reason, all the "suits" making the decisions think that blacks and reds are the only thing you can game on.

I have a DAS Keyboard with blues and you can game just fine on blues. The tactile bump and click is really to die for, and I thought I was not going to like it. I prefer blues over browns IMO.

I have a keyboard with blues, blacks and browns already, so I'm quite sure of what I'm moving towards. I'd order a filco if i wasnt so disapponted with the quality of my previous one.

If your willing to spend that much on a Filco, then please let me recommend a DAS. It's freaking fantastic! Also, they offer a satisfaction guarantee if you don't like it. thumb.gif

thanks for your suggestions. How ever I am, as indirectly stated, looking for a tenkeyless board

oh sorry about that... i read it wrong. for some reason i thought you wanted a keyboard specifically with a numpad.
There is a brown quickfire rapid but afaik it's only sold in certain regions. There is one site that sells it, but i lost the page.

I've been able to find many US sites that sell the brown version with the 87key us layout, which is not interesting to me. If the site you are talking about had the 88key then that would be really interesting, but I'm 99% sure its not released.

Tried contacting CM storm on facebook but there was no reply.

I only handle the North/South American division but as far as I know, EU does not plan to carry Brown switch. Currently only carrying Black & Red.

We have stuck with 87 key layout here and most likely will continue to do so. But fortunately I have been able to get all the switches here, minus green/clear wink.gif

Thanks for the reply, I suspected as much from not being able to find any despite my searches smile.gif

While I have your attention, is there any word on the CM Storm Recon release date yet?
