Could my RAM be on it's way out?

hi guys, i have been palying Sims 2 Pets, and it is jumping now and then and its freezes for about 4 sec.
could it be my RAM, i only have 512MB DIMM DRR. i hope to get 1GB if it is my RAM making it jumping ect.

There could be several other issues that are causing your game to flip out that way.
IMO, it could be your system overall, I mean, look at the CPU's speed and video card, how much RAM btw? Have you cleaned up your HDD? Run a full scan for fixing bad sectors? Defrag? Spyware removal? Virus removal? Registry currupted? PSU flaking? CPU's overheating? and so on................................

my brothers run Sims 2 @ 1440x900 with full settings on a 5200 and 256 o Ram, however you will notice a very small amount of lagg when chaning menus.

However runs great with 512mb, and that only with the P4 running at 1.9Ghz

So its not your system at all.
